New Feature: Practice Sales Conversations in 5 Languages

The RolePractice.ai Team

·

Short Answer

RolePractice.ai now supports practicing sales conversations in Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, and Japanese. The AI buyer adapts to cultural selling norms in each language - not just vocabulary - so reps build real sales fluency for local markets, not just translation skills.

We are excited to announce multi-language practice support on RolePractice.ai. You can now practice sales conversations in Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, and Japanese - with more languages coming soon.

If you sell internationally, this changes how your team prepares for local market conversations.

Why Multi-Language Practice Matters

Global sales teams face a challenge that domestic teams do not: selling in a second language is harder than selling in your first. Even fluent speakers lose some of their selling edge when they switch languages. The objection handling that feels natural in English becomes stilted in French. The discovery flow that works in Portuguese gets clunky in German.

The problem is not vocabulary - it is sales fluency. Knowing the words is different from being able to deploy them naturally in a high-pressure conversation. And until now, the only way to practice was to find a colleague who speaks the language and is willing to role-play, which rarely happens.

How It Works

When you set up a practice session, you will now see a language selector alongside the other scenario options. Choose your language and the entire conversation - the AI buyer's responses, the scenario context, and the post-call feedback - happens in that language.

The AI buyer adapts to cultural selling norms, not just the language. A German buyer persona will behave differently from a Brazilian one, reflecting real differences in how business conversations flow in those markets.

Supported languages:

  • Spanish - Latin American and European variants
  • French - Including Quebecois business context
  • German - Formal and informal register options
  • Portuguese - Brazilian Portuguese focus
  • Japanese - With appropriate levels of business formality

How Global Teams Are Using This

Here are three use cases we are already seeing from early adopters:

1. Market Entry Preparation

Teams expanding into new regions use multi-language practice to prepare reps before they take live calls with local prospects. A U.S.-based team opening a DACH region can practice German-language discovery calls repeatedly before the first real meeting.

2. Native Speaker Sharpening

Reps who are native speakers of a language but were trained to sell in English use this to build sales-specific fluency in their native language. You might speak perfect Spanish at home but have never practiced a MEDDPICC-structured discovery call in Spanish. Now you can.

3. Bilingual Role Transitions

Reps moving from domestic to international roles practice the transition between selling styles. The persuasion techniques that work in American English do not always translate directly. Multi-language practice helps reps adapt their approach, not just their words.

Feedback in Your Language

Post-session feedback is delivered in the same language you practiced in. This means you get specific coaching on your word choice, phrasing, and conversational flow in that language - not a translation of English feedback.

If you want the feedback in English instead (useful for managers reviewing non-native reps), you can toggle that in your settings.

What Is Coming Next

We are actively working on adding Mandarin Chinese, Korean, Italian, and Dutch. If your team needs a specific language, let us know - we prioritize based on customer demand.
